European expansion and increased web traffic demands switch from .us to .com domain
Velociti Inc., mobile installation and deployment specialists, today announced its web address has changed from www.velociti.us to www.velociti.com. In addition, the look and navigation of the website has been completely upgraded to accommodate the Company's widely popular DataMining, web-based project management capabilities as well as to address the widespread increase in traffic.
"When we chose our company name years ago the .com domain extension was not available so we settled for the .us extension," stated Deryk Powell, COO for Velociti. "With our recent expansion into Europe as well as our projected expansion into other international markets the .us domain no longer made sense so we felt it was worth the expense to purchase the .com extension."
In addition to changing the domain extension, the look and feel of the entire website has changed to become more user friendly and to include more information on the Company's rapidly expanding service offerings.
